WATKINS ANCESTORS

My grandmother Mary Watkins was born at Treville, in the Wormbridge area of Herefordshire, in 1908, and later married James Mutlow, at Norton Canon church on 14th October 1930, which is the join of the 2 branches.
Mary's parents where James Thomas Watkins and his wife Ellen. James worked as a Horse Carter on a Farm. The family later moved to Hamnish, near Kimbolton.
James and Ellen, nee Strangwood, married at Kimbolton church on 29th of December 1903.
Ellen's parents where Thomas ( born 1838 in Lingen) and Mary ( nee Heapy, born 1848 in Yarpole) Strangwood.
Note :- Thomas Strangwood - birth records for Thomas have his surname spelt Strangward, this spelling also appears on records for his mother and grandparents.
James Watkins was born on Fifteenth of June 1877 in Wormbridge to Thomas and Mary Watkins. He had 4 siblings - Charles ( born 1887), William ( born 1883), Hannah ( born 1875) and Susannah ( born 1880). Thomas and Mary had moved to Wormbridge following there marriage at Wellington in 1871. On the 1901 census Thomas is working as a Horse Carter, and Mary's mother, Amelia Pritchard, is living with them. Thomas and Mary had both been born in Wellington.
Thomas was born in 1843 to parents John and Ann Watkins.
John and Ann ( nee Probert), married at Wellington in 1838, there marriage certificate shows John as a labourer and Ann has a servant. They had 7 other children - Edward ( born 1853), John ( born 1850), Sarah (born 1848), Ann ( born 1842), Mary ( born 1838) and Elizabeth ( born 1857), all the children where born in Welington.
John Watkins was born in Shelwick, on the outskirts of Hereford in 1816, to parents James and Ann.
Watkins is a name which appears regularly across Herefordshire, so is difficult to trace without very good evidence, and therefore I have not yet progressed passed 1816. But the information is there and further progress will follow.
If anyone has any details I would pleased to hear from you.
